Center your face
Use even light, stay still, and follow the on-screen guide. No wearable is required.
30-second guided wellness scan
Pulselio turns a short, guided front-camera scan into easy-to-read wellness estimates and trends—so you can follow the pattern, not a single day.
For adults 18+. General wellness and informational purposes only. Not a medical device, diagnosis, or treatment recommendation.

A calmer daily check-in
Designed to make daily tracking feel simple, legible, and grounded—not clinical or overwhelming.
Use even light, stay still, and follow the on-screen guide. No wearable is required.
Pulselio processes optical patterns from a short front-camera scan and checks signal quality as you go.
Review wellness estimates, plain-language context, and trends across comparable readings.
Built around understanding
Position and lighting cues help you capture a more consistent reading in about 30 seconds.

Compare 7-day and 30-day views to understand how your wellness estimates change over time.

How camera pulse sensing works
Remote photoplethysmography, or rPPG, uses an ordinary camera to observe tiny, repeating changes in skin reflectance. Because hemoglobin absorbs green light, the green color channel often carries a useful pulse-related signal.
Each heartbeat changes blood volume in tiny facial vessels. That creates minute changes in reflected light that a camera can observe.
Pulselio follows a central facial region, checks positioning and motion, and samples the average green-channel intensity from valid frames.
Slow brightness drift is removed, the signal is smoothed, and a Hann window helps separate a repeating pulse pattern from noise.
Frequency analysis searches a plausible 45–150 bpm range. Repeated readings are blended, and the final result uses the median of valid estimates.
Even light and a still face help separate the pulse signal from motion and exposure changes. Camera performance, lighting, skin characteristics, facial hair, cosmetics, circulation, and movement can affect signal quality. When quality is insufficient, Pulselio should return an unavailable result instead of guessing.
Our approach
Pulselio uses the front camera to observe subtle changes in facial light reflection, then applies signal processing and AI-assisted interpretation to create general-wellness estimates.
The optical foundation is informed by peer-reviewed research into smartphone-based transdermal optical imaging. That research investigated blood-pressure measurement; Pulselio does not claim to be a blood-pressure monitor and is not validated for diagnosis or treatment.

Good to know
No. Pulselio is a general-wellness and informational product. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or monitor disease and should not be used for medical decisions.
Raw camera video is processed for the scan and is not saved to your photo library or uploaded. With permission, structured wellness values and one compressed scan frame may be sent through encrypted services for AI-assisted estimates and explanations.
Yes. “Delete All Local Data” in Settings removes your profile, scan history, reports, and local preferences. Health-platform permissions are managed separately in your device settings.
