Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Pulselio mobile application, website, and related services. Pulselio is an adult general-wellness product. It is not a medical device and must not be used to diagnose, treat, prevent, or monitor disease.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Pulselio, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Pulselio. Additional terms from Apple, Google, or another app marketplace may also apply to your download, payment, or use of the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. Pulselio is not intended for children. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for using the app only in a safe environment.

3. General-wellness use only

Pulselio provides estimates, trends, educational material, and general-wellness context. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, clinical monitoring, emergency detection, or a substitute for professional care. Results may be incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or affected by lighting, movement, camera quality, device performance, user-provided information, network availability, and other conditions.

• Do not use Pulselio to make medication, treatment, emergency, or other medical decisions.
• Do not delay seeking professional care because of a Pulselio result.
• If you feel unwell, have persistent concerns, or experience urgent symptoms, contact a qualified healthcare professional or local emergency services.
• Pulselio is not validated as a blood-pressure monitor, glucose meter, pulse oximeter, ECG, thermometer, or other regulated medical device.

4. Limited license

Subject to these Terms, Pulselio grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control for your own lawful, non-commercial use. The app is licensed, not sold. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, bypass security, extract models or content, or create derivative works except where applicable law expressly permits it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Pulselio, interfere with its operation, probe or attack its systems, upload unlawful or harmful material, automate excessive requests, impersonate another person, use another person’s face or health information without permission, or use Pulselio for clinical, employment, insurance, surveillance, identification, or other high-impact decisions. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and any locally stored records.

6. Estimates, educational content, and AI

Some Pulselio outputs may be generated or explained with automated signal processing, rules, or artificial intelligence. AI-assisted and local estimates can be wrong and should be interpreted cautiously. Reference ranges, risk labels, articles, and suggestions are educational and are not personalized medical recommendations. “Risk” values are investigational wellness estimates, not probabilities that a disease is present.

Supporting research explains the broader technical foundation and does not mean Pulselio reproduces a study result, has equivalent accuracy, or has clinical or regulatory approval.

7. Purchases and subscriptions

If Pulselio offers paid features or subscriptions, the purchase screen will display the product, benefits, price, billing period, renewal terms, and any trial before you confirm. Store transactions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and are also governed by that store’s terms. Review our Subscription Policy for cancellation, renewal, refunds, and restoration information.

8. Third-party services

Pulselio may interoperate with services such as Apple Health, Android Health Connect, app stores, hosting providers, and AI processing providers. Your use of those services is subject to their terms and privacy policies. Pulselio is not responsible for third-party services outside our control. References to Apple, Google, research publishers, or other parties do not imply endorsement.

9. Intellectual property

Pulselio, its software, design, brand, text, graphics, and other content are owned by Pulselio or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not use our marks or content except as permitted in writing or by law. Feedback you voluntarily provide may be used to improve Pulselio without obligation to you, but we will not publicly identify you without permission.

10. Availability, changes, and termination

We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue features to improve safety, comply with law, or maintain the service. We do not promise that every feature will be available on every device or in every region. You may stop using Pulselio at any time. We may suspend access if you materially violate these Terms or create risk for users or the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pulselio is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or medical or clinical suitability. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so those exclusions may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pulselio and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunity arising from your use of or inability to use Pulselio. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer rights.

13. Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without reducing any mandatory consumer protection you have where you live. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. Any claim must be brought in a court or forum with lawful jurisdiction unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version and update the date above, and will provide additional notice when required. Continuing to use Pulselio after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms, except where law requires separate consent.
